As an avid reader of the blog, you might already know about my struggles with sensitive skin. The averse effects that harsh chemicals have had on my skin over the last year have ranged from red hives across my cheeks and temples, to a slightly more manageable stint of very dry skin.
Being the ever cautious beauty enthusiast you’ve come to know on the blog, I was a little weary about trying The Body Shop’s cream body scrub after receiving it as a gift from my Dad from his travels to Paris.
It took a few weeks to build up the courage to actually use the scrub, but after my first try I was sold! The cream scrub is available in an assortment of scents and consists of a creamy, but textured paste, that both rids your skin of dead build-up, while the creme-like paste softens and replenishes dry skin.
Using the scrub once a week has helped even out my skin texture, thus allowing my moisturizer to penetrate deeper in to the skin. The scent is perfect for me – infused with olive extracts, the olive cream body scrub leaves a slight and natural scent on the skin, dissipating after an hour or two.
Having had such a pleasant experience with this particular product, I will definitely be trying some other products from the Olive range – especially the body butter and lip scrub. I would love to hear from you if you have nay recommendations of things to try from The Body Shop, let me know in the comment box below.
