Today is rather exciting, as I finally get to share a longtime dream lookbook on the blog. This post features a collaborative effort with a young creative – who’s no stranger to THE MINIMALE BLOGGER – Amber Hennings, head designer for A Seam Studios.

I was lucky enough to wear a few pieces from her upcoming graduation collection, and styled it with a few of my own summer wardrobe favorites. We shot this lookbook in a new location and I love how vibrant the backdrop appears. I was lucky enough to have the boyfriend get behind the lens for this one, and his natural affinity for photography brought this outfit to life. He also suggested a backdrop that I wasn’t feeling initially, but changed my mind immediately after seeing how the pop of Tangerine contrasted and complimented this outfit. Tangerine has always reminded me of vibrant, colorful countries like Morocco, or Turkey, and I’m glad I get to bring a bit of that feel to my latest fashion segment, especially as we’re approaching summer here in the Southern Hemisphere.

I hope you enjoy the lookbook. Next week I’ll be sharing the second part of my collaboration with A Seam Studios with a little more writing as I talk personal style and the importance of feeling good in your clothes.
